09 Feb ‘Love Always’ … Happy Valentines Day
There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine’s Day. Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer’s daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it “From Your Valentine”. With the ‘world-wide web of misinformation’ you can also find a few hundred other meanings but, we digress …
Our message today is really quite simple … ‘love always’ … that’s it. Love truly can conquer all. Many have fallen, been lifted by, and forever devoted to … the prospect of love. So here it is, February 9th … and if you are like most, you’ve done nothing (or not that much) ‘yet’ in getting ready for this holiday millions upon millions look to each year as a day of recognition from that special someone … wife, girlfriend (not both, we hope), husband, mother, child, classmate … the list is truly endless. Let’s face it, Marge’s did not go into business as a not-for-profit. We intend to make sales each day and wanted to sieze upon every opportunity we had, to get you into our showrooms. We also carry the Chamilia line of Jewelry which is amazingly HOT right now, HUGE in fact! And while the overwhelming majority of the items in these showcases and displays are for women, we also have items for men as well. Bottom line, you really should check us out.
